A practice built around difficult employer conversations

Computationalmodels exists for people who already know their work has value — and still find salary talks, feedback meetings, and offer replies harder than the job itself.

Origin

The practice grew out of years spent sitting on both sides of hiring and appraisal tables in German organisations — watching capable employees undercut themselves in the first minute, and watching managers shut down when conversations lacked structure.

Based in Altenkrempe, Schleswig-Holstein, we work with clients across Germany by video and phone. The focus stays narrow on purpose: employer communication and salary discussion preparation, not general career coaching or job search packaging.

Working approach

We treat each upcoming meeting as a craft problem. Who is in the room? What decision can they actually make? Which phrases keep the discussion open in a German workplace culture that often prefers understatement?

Sessions are rehearsal-heavy. You speak, we interrupt when the tone slips into apology or aggression, and we rebuild the line until it sounds like something you would actually say on a Tuesday morning.

Values that shape the work

  • Honesty about constraints — works councils, locked budgets, and probation rules are named, not wished away.
  • Language that fits you — no borrowed bravado from negotiation books written for other markets.
  • Clear boundaries — we prepare you; we do not lobby your employer or draft legal contracts.
